The mission of Grace Place is to provide temporary shelter and hospitality for women in transition from homelessness in a setting which is homelike, healthy, loving and supportive, and to educate and advocate to create a just society. Our house is in an old racially and economically diverse neighborhood.

Volunteers needed:

We are primarily seeking an experienced Catholic Worker who is capable and willing to take on the role of management and administration of Grace Place. This person would replace current director who wishes to retire.

We are also interested in long term live-in and part time shift(commuter or live- in)  community members or interns to share in the intentional community, works of mercy, and to engage in all forms of life here- from bookkeeping, letter writing, organic gardening, faith sharing with our guests to community prayer and laughter. This could be an individual or a married couple to live in community creating a safe and hospitable home for women and families in transition from homelessness.
