Casa Latina Catholic Worker

Casa Latina Catholic Worker

The Woodbine Catholic Worker, in the tradition of Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin, is an intentional community of individuals concerned about immigrants, refugees and people who live on the margins. Justice, peace, and hospitality lie at the heart of our community.

The Woodbine Catholic Worker endeavors to offer hospitality during weekly potluck dinners open to all and the Casa Latina, a house of hospitality.

Please join us on Thursdays for a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. If you’re down on your luck, share in ours. After dinner, roll up your sleeves and help with the dishes, listen to a presentation or take part in conversation, usually related to peace and justice.

We have a special mission to care for immigrants from Latin America at the Casa Latina and many of the workers are bilingual.
