In this online presentation, Frida Berrigan will remember her late father Phil Berrigan ([1923-2002], former Catholic priest, author, anti-war and anti-nuclear weapons activist), share stories and reflect on the abiding relevance of Phil’s life of steadfast resistance and holy sacrifice. 

Frida Berrigan lives in New London, CT, with her husband and three kids. She is a community activist, organizing around affordable home ownership with the regional community land trust, and against the ever-stretching shadow of militarism in Southeastern Connecticut. She is the author of many essays on nuclear weapons, militarism, the war on terror, climate catastrophe, and parenting and her byline often appears in publications like tomsdispatch.com and Waging Nonviolence.  She is the author of the 2015 book “It Runs in the family: On Being Raised by Radicals and Growing into Rebellious Motherhood” (OR Books.)
