St. Peter Claver Catholic Worker 20th Anniversary Celebration
October 8 @ 2:00 pm – 7:30 pm
It’s time to celebrate these twenty years of the St. Peter Claver Catholic Worker! If you are able, please join us on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at St. Patrick’s County Park, Berta Shelter, 2-7:30 p.m., and bring your musical instruments, poems, art supplies, frisbees, fishing gear, volleyballs, and loved ones, as well as a dish to share. Tell the gatekeeper that you are attending the Catholic Worker celebration and there will be no entrance fee.(Carpooling is encouraged!)
If you are unable to attend, please join us in Spirit by offering prayers of gratitude!
As we celebrate this feast, we especially invite written reflections about your own
experience of volunteering in the South Bend Catholic Worker over these years. Please consider sharing a short piece (300-500 words) by emailing it to peterclaverhouse@gmail.com sometime before October 1. We plan to gather these reflections together in a booklet and share it on that day as well as on our website.
