Directions: GPS: West Denmark Lutheran Church and Parish Hall:
2492 170th St, Luck WI 54853
Check in at the hall when you arrive for sleeping arrangements.
Sleeping:
We have use of most of the buildings at West Denmark for the weekend. There will be sleeping spaces in some: cots, and floor space in the parsonage, bunk beds in the Dane school and some couches and floor space in the church. Anathoth is 14 miles away and we do have some sleeping space here as well. Bring a sleeping bag and floor mat if you have one. A cot would be great as well. And let us know if you need more than what is listed, we can find alternatives.
Meals:
The three farms planning the retreat are doing the main meals- if you have food in your storage that you’d like to bring, we’d welcome that! Just let us know before so we can work it into the menus. Accommodations for dietary needs can be made if we know before the weekend. There will be a sign up for prep and clean up help. West Denmark has a great kitchen and dishwasher!
Adult beverages:
A reasonable amount of alcohol, beer and wine, is allowed at the hall. Please bring beverages to share. Lake City will bring their artisan kombucha. Water, Coffee, tea and cocoa available 24-7
Clothing suggestions:
We have ordered warmer weather for the gathering! But substitutions are always possible. Bring lots of layering options!!! And boots!!! Slippers or shoes are good for being indoors at the hall. We have lots of extra hats and mittens and outer wear. Ask before buying something! We probably have it!!
Bring your kids!!!
Space and activities for kids is being planned. There is a small playroom at the church for Friday night during Brenna’s talk. Let us know what kids are coming and ages so we can have the right variety of activities.
