San Antonio CW 40th Anniversary Celebration and CW Gathering

Save the Date:  Thursday afternoon, October 2^nd to Sunday afternoon, October 5^t

Please consider joining the San Antonio Catholic Worker Community for our 40^th Anniversary and possible National Gathering in Texas at the Dorothy Day House of Hospitality (DDHH) on the campus of Towne Twin Village, a residential community that provides housing using the Housing First Permanent Supportive Housing (HF-PSH) model.

We, at the SA-CW have never hosted a gathering; more over, none of us has ever even attended a National Gathering!  Thus, we are reaching out early to all of you in hopes that there are some seasoned National Gathering folks out there who might want to help us with the programing (topics, speakers, panels, round tables, etc.)….just suggestions and contact info would greatly help us.  SA-CW will provide, at no cost to participants, all of the meals, hospitality, and meeting needs.  We also have several lodging options….from “floor space” in two air- conditioned (it’s Texas 😉) meeting rooms or under an outdoor pavilion (connecting the two rooms) and possibly a few beds on campus for those who are physically challenged.  Our current local CW day volunteers, Board members, and supporters have also offered to host some of the participants.
