Sacred Peace Walk (Nevada Desert Experience)
From March 23-29, 2024, the Nevada Desert Experience (NDE) invites Catholic Workers to join the Sacred Peace Walk, an interfaith journey spanning 60 miles from Las Vegas to the Nevada National Security Site. Coinciding with Holy Week, the walk is a way to resist nuclear proliferation and drone warfare. The event includes camping in the desert, with support vehicles providing necessities. Dorothy Day Guild Book Study
Is your New Year’s resolution to read more good books in 2024? We had such a good time last fall with our Thérèse reading group that we’ve decided to offer another Dorothy book club for the spring semester! Historian and longtime friend of the Guild, Anne Klejment, has graciously agreed to host a Lenten book club where we will read Dorothy’s spiritual autobiography, The Long Loneliness, (available for purchase here) together over four sessions.

Midwest Catholic Worker Faith & Resistance Retreat
With some 7,000 employees, the Kansas City National Security Campus produces more than 80% of the U.S. nuclear weapons’ non-nuclear components. This spring, Catholic Workers will gather for a weekend of education, prayer, reflection, fellowship, and training followed by nonviolent direct action on Monday, April 15.
