We, the members of the newly formed Little Platte Catholic Worker Farm, are actively seeking monetary gifts or interest-free loans to aid in the purchase of a 37-acre property in Platteville, Wisconsin!
Modeled in part after Peter Maurin’s Agronomic University, the Little Platte Catholic Worker Farm is the result of nearly two years of discernment from our community members. Main focuses of our work will include land-based community life, regenerative agriculture and ecological “rewilding,” spiritual retreat for activists, educational programming, land-based crafts and art, appropriate technology, and collaborating with our dear friends at the nearby St. Isidore Catholic Worker Farm.
Interested persons and organizations can learn more about our project and community members at our website, which includes links to our community covenant and online giving platforms: Little Platte Catholic Worker Farm
