Vision: We care for Earth, ourselves, and our neighbors in a small, sustainable community that transforms oppressive domination into mutual liberation.
Mission: We grow a healthy home by sharing labor and power, knowing our histories, partnering with Creation, and practicing hospitality, response-ability, and place-based peacemaking.
Land Acknowledgement: Here along the banks of Turkey Creek near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, we occupy the homeland of the Kanza (Kaw), Ni-U-Ko¢n-Ska (Osage), Lenni Lenape (Delaware), Shawano (Shawnee) and Wendat (Wyandot) Nations - land which European colonial invaders stole from them through centuries of violence and deception. We honor these peoples, our neighbors; we follow their lead in caring for earth, water, air and all Creation; and we mourn their losses from which we have benefitted. May what we do here be a first step toward repairing the damage done by our ancestors and ourselves.
