skyberry House of Hospitality

Description

skyberry House of Hospitality (skyberryhouse.org), is a newly founded (August 2024) Catholic Worker House in Brattleboro, VT. We extend an invitation to interested folks who are inspired to live and learn together with our unhoused siblings.

skyberry House provides interim housing for local unhoused people, with a special focus on families with children. We engage in a life of simple living in a small community setting. We gather for meals, we garden, cook, craft, clean, sing, accompany those at the end of life, and pause for rest and prayer. Our work extends beyond the household, providing support to our local unhoused siblings and beyond. skyberry House is a 501(c)3 non-profit.

We are seeking Hosts and Volunteers to support the day to day operations at the house and with our unhoused siblings in Brattleboro. Room and board are provided. A modest stipend is available for committed full-time Hosts.
