The Dorothy Community is a house where a group of around 12 adults and 7 children live together. Some of us have papers and some have not. We try to offer hospitality to each other and to the people we meet on our way. We hope to spread a message of mercy and justice, coming from a spirituality of simplicity.
We work together with our
neighbouring farm, a place where illegalized people and volunteers take care of the land, animals and each other. Our
community is named after two inspiring women:
Dorothy Day and
Dorothy Stang.
