Indy Catholic Worker

to be with jesus in every encounter we have

Description

We are a small community of college students dedicated to caring for our community. Inspired by the lives and writings of Dorothy Day, Mother Teresa, Clare Crockett, Charles De Foucauld, and Julia Greeley, we seek holiness through the Works of Mercy.

Our funding comes from simple begging, and we are currently not a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit. We walk the streets of Indianapolis with our wagon named Julia, distributing resources to our neighbors living on the streets. Additionally, we volunteer with other mutual aid groups. We strive to live in accordance with church teaching and promote the dignity of all human beings, regardless of their state in life.

God Bless You!
