Emmaus House is a Catholic Worker community in North Lawndale. We provide temporary housing for guests, host community dinners, care for our local garden, and plan monthly roundtable discussions on different topics.

Emmaus House provides a home for 2-3 guests transitioning into greater stability. We also seek to support local activists working towards racial justice in Chicago through provision of space, participation in actions, and clarification of thought within our own circles.
