Benedict Labre House

Benedict Labre House

Our mission: to be an inclusive place providing the necessary support, services and resources to the most vulnerable population in order to improve the living conditions of everyone.

Our Mandate

  • To be a harmonious and empowering community home for people in need;

  • To promote social justice by encouraging peaceful relationships;

  • To help communities take care of their members, notably by serving them meals, offering the necessary support for their social reintegration and promoting the strengthening of their self-esteem;

  • To promote involvement and networking among individuals, businesses and corporations working in similar fields and, in some cases, to provide financial assistance.

Our Objectives

We have several objectives that determine our proceedings. Our first objective is to act on the ramifications of homelessness. In effect, we are providing all individuals an opportunity to regain control over their lives, rediscover themselves, and reintegrate within society. We also aim to promote the health of each individual who utilizes our services. We want to prevent homelessness by developing collaborations with other health, social services, and community network authorities to guide people who feel ready to take charge of their lives. Finally, we aim to establish mentorships and educational services for students/interns in social work.
